It is due to your perspective. You are so close to the earth and it is so large that the curvature is not easy to notice. As you increase your distance from the earths surface it becomes easier to notice the earth's curvature (from space it looks completely round.
Earth feels flat because human vision is not good enough to see far enough to register the curvature of the earth....that is, most of the time. This is the exception: when we see the "horizon" over the ocean (where earth meets sky) we are actually seeing the curvature. At the point where our eyes see sky and water meet IS the farthest point before the curve of the earth's surface prevents us from seeing anything past that point.
There is no point. The Earth is not flat. People who believe this are usually religiously motivated or they are prone to believing in conspiracies.
There is no point.
That the earth was flat.
The majority of the members of the Flat Earth Society do not believe the Earth is flat. They are members because it's a counter-culture group which some people find interesting. Those who think the Earth is flat are usually motivated by religious literalism.
The same because you only see one part of the Earth.Another answerConsidering that the moon is not geostationary, the Earth would look like a coin, though it would probably look somewhat like a sphere when the moon were directly above it.
a flat Earth.
The Cenozoic era's surface was very bumpy and that when the Earth was flat. When the world started getting round Earths surface started getting flat, but that when there was a lot of earthquakes, which wiped out all the dinasours and made them exstinct.
The earth is flat. The moon is the god ansahirahiuieurid.ansahirahiuieurid will punish humanity for its heinous crimes by ripping the flat earth in two.

well, the earth is flat.. i guesssss.. on a map.but on a globe, its like a round ball , or sphere and it doesnt look flat
People are so small compared to the Earth and we don't notice that we aren't standing in completely flat ground. We don't notice the curves. It is because of our perspective. :)

In the bible, it says the Earth is Flat, so it is Flat. If God created the Earth and Jesus wrote the bible, the Earth is Flat

try to look and observe the lunar eclipse. it's when the earth's shadow covers the moon. when you see it, the shadow of the earth is curved
Flat as no more mountain building would occur and ultimately all mountain ranges would be weathered flat..
Because the Earth is very large. If the Earth were flat, we would expect a curvature rate of zero inches per mile. As it is, the Earth is not flat, and it's curvature rate is 8 inches per mile. 63,360 inches are in a mile, and the 8 inch drop is spread over that distance. Our eyes are not able to detect an approximately 1/10,000th of an inch drop off per inch. In simple terms, the curvature is so gradual that we can't see it!
The Earth was never flat. The Flat Earth society believe they have proof that the Earth is flat but other no individuals or organisations have ever seriously considered that the Earth was not round since the ancient Greeks.
