if your fuse keeps blowing every time you put it in 4wd it likely means you have a short somewhere in the wire that runs from that. to find the short you may be better off to take it to a garage. they will use a fault finder to locate the bad wire. you could do this yourself but without the right tools its a big hassle im rewiring alot of my 92 s10 right at the moment

You have a short in the system. I had that problem once and it was the wiring under the front feeding the front differential actuator. It got tangled up on the idler arm and shorted out.
