The heart functions as a whole organ if a piece is missing then it wouldn't be able to function.
Think of a mouse trap, it has about 5 separate parts if one is part is missing then the mouse trap is useless.
A heart is more complex than a mouse trap and needs all of it's parts to function properly
Lol, you need all the parts of your body. Lungs, liver, heart, brain, etc.
The systemic circulation connects the heart to all body parts. The pulmonary circuit connects the heart to the lungs.

It is because the heart pumps the blood, which helps the blood bring nutrients and oxygen to all parts of the body and carbon dioxide out of the body.
The HEART pumps blood to all parts of the body.
The heart pumps blood around your body. Without blood, your body parts cannot get the fuel they need - oxygen and food. The heart has to keep pumping so that all of your body is supplied with fuel. If your heart stops pumping, your blood stops flowing and you will die as your body parts run out of nutrients and oxygen.
heart
...... the heart.
Because all Egyptians believe that the heart means Intelligence and the dead body will need it in heaven.
The functions of blood are: 1. Transportation of oxygen. 2. The fighting and prevention of diseases. 3. Transport of digested food to all parts of the body. The heart moves ('pumps') the blood to all parts of the body. Without a heart, our blood may not be able to move and carry out the functions I mentioned above. Hope this helped:)
Heart distributes oxygen to every living cell in your body, so it supports all parts of the body.
