Most definitely, the warmer the climate the easier and Quicker they change colour coz the blood is running faster meaning a quicker response from brain to skin - when it's colder sometimes they do not manage to achieve the correct colours and can easily be spotted and eaten. Because of this they migrate to warmer climes to save themselves which is pretty shrewed tactic if I'm honest
