i am having the same problem but in my 2003 trailblazer, any answers would be great!
heat rtises, cold sinks.
Perhaps a loose baffle in muffler Perhaps loose heat shield on catalytic converter
They are placed on the floor because heat rises. If the heater was up high, the ceiling would be nice and warm, while the walls and floor would be cold. They are placed on the floor because heat rises. Fans doesn't push heat or cold down but pushes air with force in the direction which is determined by the position of blades of fan.
Heat naturally moves to colder air. Place the heater on the floor and it will rise to the ceiling, as it is lighter than the cold air.
Above where you stand or sit when you are wet and cold in the bathroom after bathing or showering. Not in the shower area itself.
The direction that would cause the air movement to circulate up toward the ceiling instead of down. Usually counterclockwise looking from the floor up. That way the heat hanging on the ceiling will be recirculated down the living area without causing an uncomfortable cold breeze.
over heat
It may be the wires have come unplugged. Most likely you have to replace the heater element in the base of the seat. You must remove the seat to get into the bottom to replace the element.
The answer is no. Radiant ceiling heating does not work as well as radiant floor heating in that heat rises so having heat in the ceiling will not be as efficient as heating in the floor.
If your 03 Trailblazer blows heat out of the back vents when set on AC sometimes, it could be because of a faulty blower motor resistor block.
It is a heat shield.
