I have the same probleem with my 02 Intrigue. Its called a passive security system and only happens when you have to be somewhere. It operates on a timer and automatically resets after 10 minutes. Only happens occasionally and is a real pain in the *ss. Nobody has been able to tell me how to disable this worthless feature. I've never been able to figure out what triggers this.

Well, I've been in the business of selling cars since 1994, and I did sell new and pre-owned Chrysler products. IF it says "SECURITY" on this light that stays on, it means that your factory installed security system is not working correctly or at all.

If the security light stays on in a 1993 Z28, there could be a problem with the settings for the lights. Sometimes the adjustment knob for the interior lights gets bumped. There is also a possibility that the probe that is in the door hinge area has been broken off.
