Well, when you adjust the volume, the Mac plays a feedback sound, it sounds like a pop. To turn of this feature, go to: System Preferences>Sounds>Play Feedback sounds When Volume is Adjusted>Exit System Preferences. Try Now.
If you are pressing random keys and your cursor is not in a text box, your Mac is going to make noise. To change the noise (You can't turn it off) go to: System Preferences>Sounds>Customize System Noises>Exit System Preferences. Try Now.
If it is a clanking noise or something similar, it is probably a hard drive or cooling fan issue. If this is the case, bring it in to an Apple Store to have it fixed as soon as possible.
Tell Me if that works, I also have a Mac, so I'm Right there with you. Go Apple!
My MacBook occasionally has a problem where the sound stops working and i have to shut down my laptop and turn it back on. I have a refurbished MacBook. Not a MacBook Pro or MacBook Air; just the original MacBook. If anybody knows why this is happening please tell me, and don't tell me to just buy a new computer. Thank You
The Mac's Startup Chime tells you that your Mac is working properly. If it changes to some other sound then there is a problem with your Mac. You can press the mute sound key before you shutdown the Mac then it will startup still muted or there are a several pieces of software, such as Psst (see link below), that will silence the chime for you.
just get a mac
I tried to call my friend on my IPhone recently and he couldn't hear me for some reason, MY microphone and speakers are working fine, and I can hear him, so something must be wrong with his speakers, how do I fix this?
You can check your mac sound system fist or bring it to a repairing shop.
any time you access a network (either for the internet or intranet) your mac will be logged along with your ip. how do you stop, you cant. you can however change your mac. I cant give you any advice on how to do this but im sure you can figure it out.
Buy a new mac
You will probably need to get a Adobe Flash update on your Mac to keep it working.
The only reason your mac would make noise is if it is cleaning its self. If you first get a mac it might clean its-self more often. Once the mac is comfortable in its new home it will stop making the noise. I work at the apple store, and I can a sure you that your computer is fine. Remember to stay calm because all macs do make the sound, it is completely normal, and your mac will eventually stop making the noise, once it is use to it place.
The Logitech G430 can be used with a Mac. However, you will not have the full experience of surround sound. Currently there is no software to install for Mac to have the full surround sound effect.
It is probably just working. A Mac will make bleeping sounds and other random sounds when it is working on something.

Because I have a mac..
