because the bulb has blown
You can contact the company to determine the best way to fix the door. They can send the right tools or give you the information to get it to work.
Could be the wiring between the doors, when you open the doors you will see the rubber bungs housing the wires, pull the bungs out and check that none of the wires are broke,
the bulb has 2 filaments. One may not be working. Try replacing the bulbs. Or, there is a bare section on the wires that lead to the bulb.
by spanking it
Try pressing the "reset button" for the trip meter, pressing the brake pedal, and while holding them bot "pressed" turn the ignition on without starting the engine. If that does not work it needs to be done by a Vauxhall agent. If it was serviced recently by a Vauxhall agent just take it back and ask them to finish the job, as resetting the indicator is part of the service.
If the speedo il ok but the odometer doesn't work, take it to a speedo shop as the problem is in the speedo.
No water in bottle.
Change the speedo cable!
Sorry but no, it's prolly the cable that connects the speedo to the tranny, or the speedo itself, or perhaps the speedo gear drive at the tailshaft of your trans, if you can get behind and up in back of the speedo, or just carefully loosen the speedo unit, pull it out, the cable should be easy to see, it has a clip holding it into the back of the speedo, unclip it and turn the cable with a pair of vise grips or whatever, if it's broken you'll know. It's a matter of the process of elimination, start at the speedo and work your way back to the trans if you have to, to find the problem. jr
does the speedo work? the speedo, odo, and trip odo all work off the same cable if they are mechanical and not digital. so, if the speedo works, then the prob must be in the guage head. if it doesnt, then its 98 % cance theres a prob with the cable. 2% chance its with the drive gear in the trans.
No
on my windstar speedo only worked when it wanted to I replaced the speedo head 2 years later still works great
