Why does this site accept wrong answers and then not let you give the correct answer?

Well, obviously that isn't what the goals of the site are. That could happen, of course, if someone answers incorrectly and a new user sees the error but the question has been locked out, either by the original answerer or by the system, not knowing that the new user is actually really good. In these cases, please feel free to flag the answer or to write into our support form and tell us what the issue is. We *definitely* want to fix what is wrong, so just contact us and we'll try to make it right.

Why do you give out wrong answers?
Probably because we don't have you on the staff to correct them all.
Why doesn't Answers not give people correct answers to their question?
If you know an answer is obviously wrong - there's nothing stopping you from changing it to the correct one !

Most answers are correct, but some answers are wrong, so the majority of the time the answers are true, but occasionally not.

It's sad, but whoever answers a question does not put the right answer, so if you answer a question, make it the correct answer, OK?
Why does this website never get answers right?
Yes Yes We get more answers right than wrong. The wrong answers are part of the fun, we get to be smarter than the people who give us wrong answers and correct them. Keep in mind, many times you find a wrong answer, it is from some bored kid in computer class just vandalizing the site because he/she has nothing better to do. You could do your part and come in to give some good answers on subjects you are really smart at.

no they don't, they give most of the answers but not all the correct ones

The ouija board can give correct answers, but it can also give incorrect answers, and jumbled up answers. There is no yes or no answer for this question, because the board is capable of both being correct and incorrect to questions that are asked.

The vast majority of the questions that are answered are answered correctly. If you are aware of answers that are clearly wrong, you can make the corrections. Or you can contact a supervisor and ask them to make the correction.

Yes, it does. But Wiki doesn't give the answers, PEOPLE do! Before this answer said "IT DOESNT IT DOESENT IT DOESNT" But that person was wrong. So I am able to edit this answer and type WHATEVER I want! As long as I have an account. I hope this helped.
How do you know if your homework is right or wrong before you hand it in?
ask your dad or your mom to check your answers and if they are wrong let them correct you but NT give you the answer but if you start usig a calcualtre then you are cheating yourself and god can se that!
Does WikiAnswers always give the answer you were looking for?
Well really it depends on if people that answer know these questions as people just put in answers. Some people do know and give you correct answers. Others deliberately give stupid answers, as they think that is fun. Sometimes people don't properly understand your question or misinterpret it and so the answer they give is not correct. Most answers are correct though.
