Well anything in the Southern Hemisphere will be going In a Counter-Clockwise motion and anything in the northern Hemisphere will be going clockwise. All this due to the inward centripetal force the earth exerts while spinning. The southern Hemisphere has seasons opposite to ours... so while our Christmas is cold and white, Down under it's probably hot.
Australia I think
This anomoly appears to be due to the coriolis effect, an apparent force that results from the earth's rotation on it's axis. This rotation is counterclockwise when viewing the earth from above the North Pole which, of course, means that it is clockwise when viewing the earth from the South Pole. This force presumably drags things along with it, albeit without much conviction.
That is to say, it does not always work. Sometimes the water goes straight down the drain, sometimes ccw, and other times, with the slightest of effort, can be nudged into going completely the opposite way with no resistance whatsoever.
It appears to be dependent on the volume of water, the length of time the water takes to drain, and on any disturbances affecting the body of water, such as the action of pulling the plug.
Try it in your sink and in your bathtub, with or without disturbances, and make your own conclusions.
counter clockwise
hurricanes north of the equtor spin counter clockwise and south is clockwise
I believe so. One spins clockwise and the other spins counter-clockwise, or so I'v heard.
The normal circulation patterns of the oceans are from east to west in the north. The circulation reverses in the south moving west to east.
North Equatorial flow clockwise and southern counter-clockwise.

The current north of the equator moves clockwise.
Its both. If you look at the north pole from space, the earth spins counter-clockwise. If you look at the south pole from space, it spins clockwise. If you look at the earth at the equator, It moves to the right, or west to east.
North Equatorial flow clockwise and southern counter-clockwise.
the correct direcions are clockwise thats why we have counter and clockwise on a clock
Jupiter spins counter clockwise. To be exact, it spins counterclockwise when viewed from above the north pole. That's the same direction of spin as most of the planets, including Earth.
They apparently spin in different directions. Most tornadoes in the Northern Hemisphere rotate counter-clockwise, while those in the Southern Hemisphere tend to rotate in a clockwise direction. For the most part, this is caused by the earth's rotation.
Counter clockwise (or anti-clockwise) when looking down onto the north pole.
it just does... google it if ur curious
