It is a perception that it seems to be getting worse, but it has always been this way. If we look back at history we can see that people have always thought that the time they live is the worse. We live in a time where a great deal of change is happening and going through a revolution of how we think, communicate, and learn. This takes time and struggles and also changes the relationship between people and governments ( Egypt is a perfect example), people with other people and how people deal with issues. Our world is more equal because of this. It no longer takes an army to change a government, but a computer. In reality our time is one of cleanest, healthiest, and more secure in the history of the world. More people live longer ( 100 years ago the average age at death was 50), more children are educated ( 100 years ago most only got a 8th grade education), and today if you get hurt you are healed.
