over by the starter
check if it is getting fire
Most likely it needs new spark-plugs.
not sure why but if I turn the key wait till the fuel pump kicks off my cavalier normally does start right up
There are various reasons why a vehicle wont start. The two main reasons are fire(electric power) and gas. Check and trace these two properties first and there is a good chance you will find the problem. Make sure it's turning over fast enough. A weak battery or starter will just cause the engine to flood.
why does my 2002 chevy cavalier over heat after i change the thermostat and the water pump
the motor if its over 200 thousand miles use 20/50 motor oil
Numerous reasons... How about some background? Does it crank over? Does it fire? Has it been in an accident? Too many questions...
Start All Over Again was created in 1989-11.
Try replacing your spak plugs. I had the same problem with my 85 Monte Carlo.

Kind of vague...!! What's it doing? Is it turning over? Was the check engine light on before you shut it off? Need more info.
