Why does your 1990 Ford Taurus stall when it warms up but runs perfectly when it's cold?

When the engine is still cold, the Fuel/Air mixture is richer than normal, and the idle speed is higher. After it warms up the choke is off, and the idle is normal.
Your symptoms suggest that the normal mixture maybe too Lean.
The cause could be many things including:
1. A vacuum leak.
2. Dirty fuel injectors.
Any problems beyond this would require diagnostics, and more $$$.
