the tick is your lifters not getting oil to them.oil getting thick due to cold and not warming up. change oil with a 5w30 and an additive.lucus oil additive is good to help get rid of the ticking.and you will have to keep additive when changing oil.to keep ticking away.only way to truly fix the noise.is to change the lifters.which cost more and engine work.hope this helps
