It could be one of several problems:
If the lockup torque converter relay isn't releasing, you'll have that problem.
If the engine has insufficient power at an idle, you'll have that problem.
If you don't think it's the torque converter, start with a tuneup, and make certain that the EGR is functioning properly, the fuel pressure is normal, the Oxygen sensor is in good condition, clean air filter, and generally, everything is set up properly.
Run a diagnostic test; you should be able to borrow a code scanner from a local auto parts store, (O'Reilly, Auto Zone) or even better, buy one for the future.
Not all vehicles are made so that the consumer can turn the airbags off. You may have to take it to your local Saturn dealership. If this is the case, they will have the service department turn it off for you.

Your car might turn off when you come to a stop because the car has an electrical problem or a problem with the distributor. It might also turn off when you come to a stop because of a timing issue.
You fix what is setting the code off in the first place
My car does NOT do that.
The circuit will stop working once turn off a flashlight.
i believe they are on the right side of the center console . there is a panel that comes off
Sounds like the switch is bad.
