Squeak in tires (when turning in particular) could mean low tire pressure, or bald tires.
Your going to have to get your transmission rebuilt or get another put in.
Turning to the right, when going forward, you turn the steering wheel towards the right.
Viscuous coupling in the transfer case could be going bad.

Loose or worn out power steering belt. A power steering pump going bad.
A water pump might squeak when it is going out. But, it is more likely that the water pump will have a very high pitched squeal when it is getting ready to go out. It might also leak fluid.
I think it is because when you brake and turn at the same time it makes friction and that's what makes the tires squeak.
When was the last time you had the suspension lubed? Did someone swap in some urethane bushings? They tend to squeak .
Squeak or whine? Possible that your clutch is going out.
A stock Cherokee with no lift should fit 30" diameter tires on stock wheels, but there may be some rubbing when turning and going over bumps. If you throw a 2" lift kit in there, it'll take 31"s and shouldn't rub.
