Why is it important that human body stays at room temperature?

It is important for the human body to stay at room temperature because if the temperature is too cold, you could get a cold, or even hypothermia or if the temperature is too hot, your body overheats, or you could get a fever. Your body can only withstand so much heat or coldness. The average body temperature is 98.6 degrees. Anything higher or lower, you're on your way to getting a cold, fever, or even worse.
