Had the same problem on my 2000yr TD. The black wire was broke which runs between the door and A post which seems to be a common problem as its always flexing with the door opening and shutting, but I was suprised how many functions this affected!
Assuming that you had electric folding mirrors fitted to the car; put the driver's mirror adjuster into the central (neutral) position and push it down for a second, both mirrors should fold in. Repeating this will make the mirrors fold out.
Check all your fuses first. Otherwise be prepared to pay a couple hundred for someone to do that or track down a bad connection going to that door circuit.
