Why does your 1998 Honda Civic lx jurk when you reach speed of 20mph?

Talking to the dealer i was told this is standard for Honda Civics. (BS!) From what i have been told itsa linear solenoid problem. I have a DX it seems all may be affected except the hx with cvt.
