The gauge cluster is electronic and the speedo is controlled by a small stepper motor that is a very common failure. Check with your local Chevy dealer to see if they will honor the recall for this (there is a TSB for it) Other wise visit our enthusiast forum for all the help you need to fix it yourself and save hundreds of dollars.

I would check the fuses.
Disconnect the battery for 15 minutes. If it is still on then you must see a GM dealership.
Its under the fuel tank in the back left of the car to measure how much fuel is still left in the tank.
Blower motor switch. Put it on High and it will blow when sitting still with the engine running.
i changed the running light bulbs (3 of 4 are out) on Chevy 2005 trailblazer, and they still don't come light up?

I had the same problem on my 2002 Chevy trailblazer. I took it in to the dealeship and complained enough( b/c this problem happend when the car was still under warranty)and they fixed it even though it was out of warranty.
Sitting Still was created in 1981.
No .... do not mix the old style coolant and the new Dex types. The new Dex coolant is the only thing to put in your truck. I have seen trucks with 100,000 miles on them and they still have a pristine cooling system. www.trailvoy.com ..... All the answers for your Trailblazer from true enthusiasts!
Change the spark plugs at 100,000 miles. 03 still has a serviceable fuel filter and that can be changed too. For all the answers about these trucks join our enthusiasts forum at www.trailvoy.com
It is still sitting!
