You start your engine, it kicks on sometimes gives a little trouble.. While driving at night if you notice your headlights flicker on and off along with your electrical lights in your dash and maybe stereo equipment. Coming to a stop, then trying to take off and applying gas it will sputter and maybe stall on you.. Usually means your distributor is going out.
No. A bad starter would cause the car not to start.
Usually the engine will sputter and almost stall when you rev in quickly while in Park or Neutral. It is usually intermittant and can be confused with a plugged cat converter. After if falls on its face it will recover and seem to run properly.
The start-stall issues are most likely the result of the car being 23 years old and in dire need of an overhaul.
O2 sensor, if you have replaced it already, pull it out and make sure it hasn't burned it again. Jeeps can be notorious with these O2 sensors.
Bc is not enough air in the intake....
Check the 1989 Honda Accords timing. If the engine has jumped time then the engine will buck and sputter.
if it tends to sputter and have no power i would suggest the fuel pump. it it is only after the car has warmed up, or a while after you start driving it might be the ignition module.
prob a vacume leak
could be a bad fuel pump or fuel filter. have a friend crank the car as you bang on the fuel tank.this can some times free up the trash on your fuel pump.
check for clogged fuel filter, or faulty fuel pump
