It depends on what year Malibu you have. But 1997 and newer chevy Malibu's all have automatic headlights. So leave the light switch turned on auto. The older ones have a knob to the left of the steering wheel. Twist it if it's on the steering column or if it's on the dash pull it.
The ECU would have to be reprogrammed.
