I've had my Dell Studio 1737 for over a year or two, and just recently when I plug anything( iphone,iPod,mice) in a usb port, it won't recognize the device. When I plug in my ipod, it'll charge but won't recognize it. All of the usb ports are up to date in software and I don't have the money to take it somewhere and get it fixed. So is there a way I can fix this so I wont have to take it to Staples or somewhere? Thanks
USB and PS2
So you can use the same devices for both.
We can't say the ports are input devices. Ports are just interface to which provides communication medium to the devices.
You can connect devices such as printers, scanners, mice, or many other gadgets that may not have room in the USB ports already designed into your laptop. This saves the devices being individually plugged into your laptop saving time and a lot of hassle.

All national ports have been closed.I need more USB ports on my laptop.
