You can't. It's part of the dog. Accept your dog for who he or she is, don't discriminate him or her because of fur colouring. As they age, darker-fured dogs will experience lightening of the fur in some areas, just like humans getting grey hair. You can't control genetics or nature.
A Rottweilers colouration should be black and tan according to the breed standards. Pups are being born a lot more frequently with a white flash (Patch) on their chest. Many believe it to be a genetic fault and it doesn't necessarily mean that the dog isn't a pure bred rottweiler. It would probably be considered undesirable in the show ring and for breeding, because it doesn't fit the breed standard; Although many believe that the odd few white hairs is considered acceptable, where as a white patch would not be. On saying that, if your dog is just a pet, then you have nothing to worry about as you still have a beautiful breed of dog. In some cases very small patches of white, have been known to grow out.
One user said i means they are not pure Rottweilers . This is far from the truth . It does however mean they have a genetic fault . if you are looking for a show dog this would not be the one to show . if this is just a pet you still have a pure Rottweiler just with a slight fault according to breed standards .
its called a genetic mutation in the "blueprints" for a dogs markings. Its completely normal, its just the same as people with blue eyes vs brown.1

Nearly every breed can have white on their chest, only breeds such as Rottweilers, Dobermans, weimaraners & other breeds which have a specific coat colour or pattern. Most breeds can come in any colour or pattern, often have white on the chest. Some breeds such as collies, basenjis & huskies types almost always have white chests. It depends on the dogs genes really, but almost any dog can have a white chest.
