Simple answer for this.If the truck turns over and over and does not fire the most likely cause is the timing is set properly. If you had the camshaft on A lined up with the pointer and the crankshaft lined centered with the pointer in as close to dead center the timing should have been correct. This sohc engine is very easy and forgiving.I would check the timing and make sure with a timing light that on the crankshaft the first notch is AT TOP DEAD CENTER which goes towards the alternator, next the big notch in the middle is TOP DEAD CENTER and the small notch to the right (going towards the pwr steering is BEFORE TOP DEAD CENTER.The mark you want it set on is 6"degrees btdc.Mark this with paint use yellow for atdc and white for the small btdc. When setting the timing you want the timing between the yellow and white.Unless you have a plug wire disconnected or coil wire on the distributor cap is loose I have no idea.
behind the radiator,in the middle of the engine
she would get hot or leak or you would hear a funny noise in the front
DRAIN AND REMOVE RADIATOR.SHROUD AND FAN REMOVE WATER PUMP,RE-INSTALL PUMP WITH SILICONE SEALENT..GOOD LUCK ..toro2
It is located at the thermostat housing single wire plug and the upper radiator hose goes to the housing to keep it simple.
Low coolant? Defective thermostat? Heater core plugged, restricted, or air bound Water pump not circulating coolant?
Check the engine thermostat.
Overheating will blow the head gasket and/or warp the cylinder head. In the worst scenario, the cylinder head probably cracked and allowing water to get into the piston(s) which is probably why the vehicle won't start. If you are going to do the work yourself, be sure and take the cylinder head to a machine shop and have it pressure tested for leaks and also have it resurfaced.
where is the water pump located in Mazda millenia
i have the exact same problem i changed the water pump last night waited an hour to make sure gasket dries placed water in it and it wont start. i replaced everything as i took it apart and i dont understand it.
Sounds like the thermostat is not opening and needs to be replaced
probably put the timing belt out of sync
you have a blown water seal. Rebuild time..
