It may be because the main source of light is from the side and the fish is trying to balance itself and make sense of the light source in its autonomous systems. It is more likely however that the fish has a swim bladder problem. If this is so, then to the best of my knowledge there is no reliable cure/treatment and the fish is best euthanased.
because it has dropsy or bloating. You need to get some meds for it.
they try to find the way so the swim sideways so if they go foreword they will hit the glass and could kill them. they go sideways so they ony hit the side of them. fish are smarter than what we are . they have to get use to the light change
Whales are not fish. Fish move their bodies sideways when they swim; whales move their bodies up and down.
If you mean ragged fins then this is probably because another fish in your tank is attacking it. Any type of barbs are notorious for attacking fish with long fins and angel fish will also have a good go. It is difficult to say who is the culprit for definite without knowing what you have in there, but this is generally the reason. Hope this helps.
Your betta fish may be laying sideways due to swim bladder disorder, which can be caused by overfeeding, poor water quality, or stress. It is important to address the underlying cause and provide proper care to help your fish recover.
swim away or if they are fighting fish like sharks, octopus etc. then they would supposedly fight back.
they swim all ways..their is not forward backwards or sideways....
This is a question that i need to be answered. I personaly am going to ask my pet shop owner but im guessing the fish will swim after the other fish and try to bite them. If this happens take the fish out immediatly and dont put it back in again. DO NOT PUT 2 MALES WITH A FEMALE AS THEY WILL BOTH FIGHT. if their gills go up they are being tormented. ask you pet shop owner he/she will give you more details
i guess ray fish like the Pokemon mantine but sideways ??? I have no clue who that guy is but he must be a total retard. Pokemon. really? Anyway I think it is a flounder becaus it is not born flat.
They swim sideways
The word for swim for a fish is "swim." Fish swim by moving their bodies and fins to propel themselves through the water.
Yes fish can swim.
