These trucks are notorious for this issue. It could be a couple different things. The ignition switch is made of plastic and tendes to burn or short some of the contacts on it and will cause the instrument panel to shut off completly. The instrument panel itself could have a short it the circuitry somewhere and is actually quite common. It could all start from the gas gauge and oil pressure gauge failure, to inaccurate speed or rpm readings to total failure. Id start with ignition switch first being that its the cheapest to fix then go from there.
good luck!
Check the headlight switch. Sometimes the circuit that operates a part of the light system can fail, especially the dimmer part.
Blown fuse or faulty ground wire to instrument panel, most likely.
When the instrumental panel on a 2002 Honda Civic fails the usual cause is the dash fuse. One fuse handles most for the gauges on the dashboard, when this fuse blows nothing will work.
Yes it will.
There are two primary causes for the entire instrument cluster to fail on a 1996 Pontiac Grand Am. The most likely is that an instrument cluster panel fuse has blown. One can also inspect to make sure the wiring harness and connectors to and from the cluster are intact and undamaged. If the problem is limited to the cluster itself there are services available that can repair and refurbish instrument clusters, often on an exchange basis.

you sometimes fail so badly because you're not really concentrating a lot or sometimes you are too overconfident that you fail
it could be the instrument control panel cluster that's what is wrong with mine
it's not!. it is how autocrasies fail.
sometimes no and sometimes yes
Wires sometimes fail. Nails and other fasteners sometimes fail. Hooks fail. Wallboard materials sometimes fail. Sometimes pictures are improperly hung or hung with inadequate materials. Attributing some kind of meaning to an event just because the factors causing it are not clear doesn't make any sense at all.
No you won't.
