I believe that you have a very uncommon problem and should refer to a professional repair shop.
a yamaha blaster obviously has an alternator, just like any engine, if it wouldn't have an alternator how do you expect the spark plug to light up?
you can use pretty much any unleaded gas but it runs a little better on 89 octane , or higher but if you have a stock blaster you can run 87 octane
Replace the rectifier/regulator. It regulates (limits) the current coming from the magneto.
10-40 light gear oil ,any good make will do it takes 650 ml once drained
I have a 1998 blaster that's .40 over, stroked, and full FMF Gold Series exhaust.. I have heard them clocked at 85+ but mine has many many performance upgrades. If you bore and stroke your blaster, it'll kill about any 400 you put up against it, besides the YFZ450.. Which we all know would dominate any other fourwheeler.
No, pushing it backwards will not damage the speedometer.
use the clutch
i know it can go through water but not mud
It´s so fast, you can kill any 400. With mine, i´ve killed z400 and trx400
blaster any time any were i can beat a 250 raptor with my 240 blaster by 18 links and now the kid wont even race me any more because he gets mad.
The raptor 250 was not made in 2001. 2001 200cc would be a 2 stroke blaster and it depends on if any mods have been done. If its just stock then @$500.00-$1500.00
probably dont have any compression. take spark plug out and put your thumb over the plug hole as you try to kick start it. if no air shoots out then its a compression problem
