Pain in the back from taking a deep breath can stem from a number of issues.
The ribcage that expands with every breath you take moves each rib that is connected to the spine. There are a massive amount of small joints connecting the ribs to the spine which can all be a source of pain. e.g the joint capsule can get stuck between the joint surfaces which can be very painful. Arthrosis and other degenerative conditions of the joints can aggravate this.
Beside the joints between ribs and spine, pain can also stem from the pressure that builds up in the thorax and abdomen when you take a deep breath. If for some reason you both contract the muscles of the abdomen and breath in you increase the pressure inside the core of the body which in turn can put pressure on some of the nerves that runs in the back.
Also it is quite possible that the pain is from sore or stiff muscles in the back that gets stretched a little too far or pinches a nerve when you take a deep breath.
if you breathe and think about something else then not really it wont

They should not hurt at all unless you have damaged them some way.

Yes it hurt our bodies because it is in the air and we breathe that air.
...yes....
Take her to the vet!
When you inhale (take in air when you breathe), you are taking in Oxygen.
Plants do not take oxygen from anywhere. They absorb carbon dioxide from the air and release oxygen back out into the atmopshere. This is the opposite way round to us because we breathe in oxygen and breathe out carbon dioxide.
Well, the carbon dioxide we breathe in and out is a gas. We don't ACTUALLY breathe it, but we breathe it and back out. Littering, such as garbage, pollution and smoking. Causes the air to stink. Yes, even though it takes billions of years for it to spread. Eventually, it's gonna spread. When it spreads, our lungs will be breathing unclean air, causing us to die.
