Momentum.
Momentum is mass x velocity.
Velocity is speed in a direction.
Even if the bus changes direction, you still have momentum in the original direction until some force pushes you in another direction. That takes a moment in a car or bus, so until your momentum is that of the bus, you'll still be going in a slightly different direction, which happens to seem 'outwards'.
They don't really move to the right. Their mass keeps going straight ...that's what masses do until they're acted on by an external force.
Because of inertia. Simply put, the bus and yourself are travelling in the same direction, when the bus turns your body continues on the same path you were travelling initially. As the bus turns, because you and the bus are not rigidly fixed together and there is flexibility it takes a while for your body to 'catch up' with the new direction.

I assume you're talking about the e-mail where theres a picture of a school bus and it asks you which way its traveling. look at the picture, do you see the door to let the kids on? then its traveling to the left. This is why little kids always get this one right =)
When it's an airbus! When it Turns in to a street!
If it was insured, then it is covered under you insurance, but it will depend on the policy. If you just purchased it and took a bus home, but left it on the bus or it was stolen, then it is lost - not covered. The best thing you can do is report it as a missing item to the public transportation department in case it turns up.
The danger zones extend as much as 30 feet from the front bumper, 10 feet from the left and right sides of the bus and 10 feet behind the rear bumper of the school bus.
Left because in Fred: The Movie when he was on the bus and the woman is trying to give away a dog Fred's brushing his teeth with his Left hand!
