Clicking sounds coming from the vehicle may indicate there are loose valves. Aside from getting a mechanic checkup, adding high mileage motor oil can also be helpful.
what kind of noise?
Its usually a U joint. Click under acceleration . While turning,a CV joint. Grinding or moaning is usually a bearing.
If clicking while trying to start then might be a bad starter. If clicking while running, then might be valve/lifter noise.
If just clicking and not starting, most likely a dead battery.
Take the car to a large parking lot and turn the wheels while accelerating moderately; with the wheels still turned, stop and do it in reverse. Listen for any clicking, knocking noise. By loading the bearings in forward and reverse a bad CV will usually make noise.
A cracked flex plate (flywheel) could be your problem.
it is the door alarm
Bike gears make a clicking sound while shifting because the teeth of the gears are engaging and disengaging as they move to different positions, creating a clicking noise.

If the chirping noise speeds up as the truck speeds up, check the u-joints in the drive line.
Does the engine turn over and then make the clicking noise while trying to start, or does it not do anything but make the clicking noise when you turn the key. If its not turning over at all then it might be a battery problem, Try cleaning the battery terminals, and/or charge the battery, Could also be the starter solenoid, but start with the battery first.
