Many reasons.. Could be from transmission, alternators, engine, o2 senors, filters, batteries.. List goes on..
Yes
the alternator is out
Driving a Subaru Outback once (I was borrowing it from a friend), the engine suddenly quit running because it was low on oil. It was a safety mechanism on the car so it wouldn't ruin the engine. I am sure there are plenty of other reasons for it to quit, though.
Because they take more bullets than a horse before they quit running.
One spark plug could foul up and quit on you but I don't see all of them quiting at once.
Yes they could along with many other possibilities.
No, I would seek another answer to the problem. If the starter starts while the car is running, it may grind the bendix or the starter into a toothless nub and the starter will quit functioning alltogether.
no you shouldn't because the cold air that your engine sucks up can quit your engine and stop running
Yep. That is why I quit buying Chevys. I had three go bad in one year on a Grand Am. The towing company knew me by voice.
it sounds to me like you need to change your alternator ?
No. They sputter for a few seconds then quit running.
Excess load = the idle RPM falls to low and the engine shuts off.
