Hmm, other than the obvious, you probably have rear wheel drive and a light rear end. It's not unusual for a car to skip a bit
The Car Coach - 2011 How to Drive Over Potholes was released on: USA: 11 April 2011
With those rubber bands for tires I woulnd suggest you over inflate. Tires need alittle expansion for bumps and potholes on the road. Car 28-32lbs. Truck/SUV 35-40lbs.
It maybe your suspension that squeaks when ever you go over the speed bumps.
A lot of times the grinding sound that is heard when going over bumps is actually the car scraping the cement. If it is not a serious problem then the best thing to do would be to drive slow over the bumps.
Lots...
bad shocks or struts
Both ends
If its a ka thunk sound even on small bumps,Its most likely your STRUT MOUNTS.
If parts of your undercarriage scrape on the speed bumps as you pass over them, yes, they could do damage to your vehicle.
Cars vibrate.
Probably a worn out suspension bushing.
A car's steering wheel will vibrate when driving if the car's alignment needs to be adjusted.
