Nothing will likely happen if a cat eats a small amount of bread on occasion. However, bread should never be eaten as part of a cat's regular diet as it provides nothing for the cat - bread is made out of grain which cats find hard to digest in large quantities.

∙ 13y agoIt is very likely nothing will happen, apart from having a bad taste in your mouth if you the lower-quality foods. At worst you may have an upset stomach, but this really depends on how much you eat and what your personal tolerance is.

Cats and kittens can eat bread, it will not harm them, however, it does not have the nutrients for them to eat as a regular diet.

Cats have difficulty in digesting such high carbohydrate foods such as bread, corn and wheat, so it is not ideal to feed a cat bread on a regular basis.
