The headlights could have bad bulbs or a bad fuse; the two sets of lights are on different circuits.
check the fuses - there is no fuse for the headlights.
turn on your headlights
Yes. When you turn on the lights there is a circuit for the headlights, one for the dashboard lights and a third for the clearance and taillights. Any one of those circuits can fail independantly of the others.
If you turn up your interior dashboard light settings, then the radio display will be brighter too. The radio dims to the setting for the dashboard when the lights are turned on.
Turn on headlights/parking lights and adjust dimmer control
Because it is British.
dimmer switch below light controls is turned down? i have an 05 and that happens when the dial has been moved. hope that helps
its probably something to do with the wiring system
Check headlights and dashboard lights first. If no/minimal power for the lights then replace battery.
Check the fuse for the headlights. It is probably open.
Sounds like a blown fuse in the dash, no biggie, just take it in and it should be a quick fix Wiring harness has come loose, blown bulbs, or bad wire.
Some cars have a knob for the headlights. If this knob is turned left or right when pulled out, it changes the brightness of the dashboard lights from off to full brightness.
