Most dogs don't do that. But it is not unnatural or something to worry about. But not many dogs have that behavior, but still, it is just you dog's behavior. Perhaps she/he does not know not to poop there. You may want to do something about that. I don't know of any advice that will definitely work but you may want to try buying puppy pads or use newspaper and hope your dog knows to poop there. Or you may try buying another bowl and letting him use the old one for pooping and feed him with the new one.
