Not all dogs sleep under beds but if you have observed a particular dog doing so it is likely because the dog feels safe there. Canines in the wild live in dens so being under something when they are sleeping can make them feel safe.
he/she is probally scared of something, you should probally spend more time with him/her.

it will find it its self and if it doesnt like where you put it..put it somewhere else preferably somewhere with shelter (i know its in a cage but maybe have an upper level and put its bed under that)
