Look at it from your dogs point of view. You've just been taken to a strange place full of barky dogs, and left with strange people who have all kinds of strange instruments. If you've been there before, you probably know what awaits you, first a bath (most dogs hate those), followed by a blow dry (some dogs are outright terrified of these) and a brushing & clipping which may not be administered as gently as little miss princess paws is used to.
Most dogs hate going to the groomers, can you blame them?
But oh well, its a dog... just give em a yummy snackrifice afterward & all is forgiven.
