The fan is running constantly because the computer is overheating. Disconnect power from the computer and remove the side panel. Use a can of compressed air to remove all dust from the computer. When cleaning the fans do not allow the air to spin the fan or you can damage it. Hold the fan blades in place with a pencil or pen. After blowing all air from the processor heat sink, fans, inlets, & outlets, the computer fans should not run as much. After you clean it out connect the power cord and start the computer up. Look to make sure all fans are running. If not you may have a defective fan.
Some machines have bad cooling systems that overheat. The fans are used to cool down the system to prevent it from damaging itself, or even igniting. Applications that demand high performance (Final Cut, World of Warcraft, browsing videos on YouTube) will cause the processor and hard drive to work more, causing the machine to heat up, and then it needs to cool down, using fans or an alternative way to cool down.
Because it's removing the heat build up of the microchips inside. The fan should always be running - at times when an extra cooling 'boost' is needed - the fan will speed up - then go back to a 'working' state.
fans are mainly used to eliminate heat by transferring it to outside, which is produced when the computer works. so it wil not get stopped while computer is in on condition.
so it doesnt over heat
You dont want to stop your computers fan from running. It will overheat and break if you do that.
Basically what a computer fan do is pull the heat from the heatsink that is connectted to the CPU and escorts it out of the computer,, because if the CPU gets to hot then the computer just stop working.
make sure your computer is unplugged and remove the fan from inside, and thoroughly clean it. this will "lessen" or remove the windy noise.
It's theoretical possible, but not likely. But if someone managed to do this, then yes, your computer would overheat.
yes! since a computer is a machine, i.e is using energy for its excutions, during energy cycle heat must be evolved, when fan is introduced then heat effect is reduced.
The fan tries to stop your computer from going into self destruct mode and is due to excessive heat. The steps you must take are: 1. Buy some cooling liquid at best buy for around 5$ 2. Pour a little of it onto the fan Caution: This can and will fry computer make a mess destroy computer's internal hardware can harm you *This may not cool down your computer*
Because without power, the hard drive, the fan, they make noise when they have power. Without it, they all stop making the computer go "quiet."
An exhaust fan is a system fan that blows (usually warm) air out of the computer.
The computer's fan does nothing more than help cool the computer's internals. The fan will not have any impact on the speed of the computer if it is working properly.
A computer fan is any fan inside, or attached to, a computer case used for active cooling. Hope its helps :)
cooling fan
you must only use your computer for only 3-4 hours so that you can prevent over heating You could if you know anything about the components of computers clean all the fans of dust and dirt with a hoover, but be as gentle as possible. this should be done at least once a year. and if you have more than one fan attached to a computer insted of the fan bolwing out hot air it then changes to a vacume taking in the heat making it overheat faster
