The thing is, some friends don't try to. The only one's that do are the ones that are jelous. For example, I have a friend that is challenged by my looks and popularity. The only thing that she has above me is the amount of friends in facebook. i just started facebook, so I temporarily have 62 friends. She has 66. She steals my friends, and tries to have more than me. But, the sad thing is that I plan to get rid of the friendship with her soon. This is only an example.
