It is not a good idea for a friend to continue to go out with her friend's exes, but it could be that she has known them through you; liked them and stepped back while you were with them and then once you broke up she felt more comfortable dating them. It is odd that she does this multiple times and it's uncomfortable for you so the best thing to do is communicate this fact to her and ask her the question. If she has no explanation or you are not happy with her explanation then you are better off parting your ways.

Not all gay men insist on being friends with their exes, but those that do seem to be more effeminate and prefer them as a girlfriend or a best friend. They are fighting the fact they are gay and not suited for the opposite sex. If both parties are gay, then it is no different that heterosexual's having a relationship, splitting up and some exes prefer to be friends (one may disagree.) They can't quite let go of the good times they once had and not ready to move on.
