they might simply be sick.
A hamster could be lazy during the day because all hamsters are nocturnal. That means they sleep during the day but are active at night.
NO hamsters are nocturnal so they sleep in the day and play in the night
sleep all day for they are nocturnal. eat all night and run in their hamster wheel, if you dont get them a hamster wheel they will chew on their cage all night. or you can give them a cardboard tube, they'll happily chew that
i don't think so all THREE of my hamsters sleep like all day and then they wake at 11.30pm and run on the wheel like they haven't done it in a year!
Tigers sleep all night, and part of the day.
Yes! They will sleep during the day and play during the night, therefore do not keep it in your bedroom!
yes and no, I have a Chinese hamster and he is active in day time. But he/she will sleep allot in the daytime also unless trained not to. To train a hamster to sleep at night and play in the day is hard but doable just play with them for 10 minutes every 2 or 3 hours during the day then after a few days slightly increase the play time and decrease the sleep time in the day and after a few days do it again. And soon your hamster will play in day and sleep at night.
Yes. They sleep frequently at all times of the day or night.
Getting a hamster is a great thing to do to teach responsibility to a younger generation, aswell as them being very cute and cuddly. It is a false statement that hamsters sleep all day, as they do come out about 2/3 times a day for food and drink. While they sleep, it gives you time to do everything you need or want to do, and you can enjoy playing with your hamster in the evening and early morning. =]
Beat it all day, then allow it to sleep at night, right?
If you sleep during the day, this may result in improper sleep at night. It is a good idea to sleep at night so that you aren't sleeping all day.
Hamsters will eat what ever you give it so if you give it a whole lot of food it will eat it all most likely.so if your hamster seems overweight try giving it a little less food or ask a local pet shop ( Petco,Pet Smart, etc.)Hmmm, well I have a answer to that 1. Your hamster may be storing food somewhere you can't see and so well that is kind off bad because hoarding is the name of what your hamster may be doing what I did was I took the food bowl out for a hour and put it back it if this isn't your answer then 2. Gif your hamster looks normal say not it might weight less and your hamster might be eating more to gain weight and that's completely normal ( except for the underweight part, if your hamster looks underweight then you can use a food weighter to see how much it weighs ) well I hope this helps - darkskygamerr
