First check the fuses (all of them).
Next, try turning the fan to high (with the engine running) and gently tapping the heater blower with a hammer. It it blows, you need a new blower motor.
Next connect a 12V test light to the two wires at the blower motor. If it lights up, the blower motor is bad. Otherwise you have en electrical problem.
if the heater does not blow out warm air change the setting.
When you have the heater on, does it just blow any air at all? or no air?
The heater does not blow air because it emits infrared rays that have heat molecules within them, thus releasing heat, not blowing it. A heater does not blow air becasue there is no moving air source within the heater. The heater emits infrered rays that cause heat to slowly flow out of the heater.
If it does not blow at all then that is a problem, but if it is when you first start it, the Caddy will not blow air on you until it is the selected temp.
first of all i hate to say an obvious answer but does the heater motor even turn. Does it blow air at all. The first thing i would check is if the fan motor is blowing any air at all. If not u need to put in a new heater fan motor. first of all i hate to say an obvious answer but does the heater motor even turn. Does it blow air at all. Your heater will blow cold air only.
The front expansion valve is clogged.
It doesn't really blow it out it just warms the cold air.
Isn't a heater supposed to blow warm air?
heater on at idle and will not blow warm air. when moving it blows the warm air from the vents. what will cause this
The heater may blow cold air instead of warm air due to issues such as low coolant levels, a malfunctioning thermostat, a clogged heater core, or a faulty blend door. These problems can prevent the heater from properly warming the air before it is blown into the car.
it wont blow heat itll blow cold air
