Because he is shallow. I've been married for 15 years and never has my husband pointed out any of my flaws and belive me I have many after having children and just due to aging in general. He could also be insinsitive. I have been married for 25 years now, and my wife and I constantly say things about our physical flaws (of which we both have them, in abundance) - however both my wife and I know this is the result of getting older and we think it is funny. So don't think he is doing it "just because of *reason*" tell him it upsets you and ask him to stop; then you can define better why he is doing it.
