Chances are there's three wires going to the bulbs. One shared ground, and two power wires. One power wire is the low, the other the high. If you have a voltmeter, i'd try making sure it's getting voltage. If it isn't, it might be the switch.
-do you have 2 headlights on each side? if not chances are your high beam went out in that head light.....10 bucks at Walmart and takes 5 minutes to change....hope it helps

My two guesses: 1Your high beam bulbs may be burnt out 2the high beam/low beam switch may be broken.
you have a bad headlight switch. easy to change out it's just a tiht fit under the dash
Try pushing the turn signal lever forward, or pulling it toward you. This is a common location for the high beam switch.
low to mid 20s
I believe the dimmer switch is in the steering wheel column.
Pull the turn signal switch towards the steering wheel to activate high beams.
pull the turn signal lever toward you.
9005 low beam 9006 high beam 9011 HIR low beam 9012 HIR high beam HIR is not an HID bulb althought with no modification, it produces HID intensity without annoying another drivers... definetly something to look into
I had the same issue with my Cherokee Sport 4.0 until I had the heater core flushed. After a couple trips once flushed, high pitched sound discipated.
it should be the same as mine. pull the wiper lever towards you to turn the brights on and off
well a low beam can be from nothing to 1 foot high a medium beam is 2 and a half feet high and a standard high beam is 3 and a half feet high
