It may be that the narcissist is more content to confront the ex, as this will be taking the focus off the new reality. Narcissism is all about running from the self and avoiding ever facing it. The wqy to deal with this is to ignore him or her and when that can not be just highlight some realities. have some evidence of reality there on show.
