An adult male will behave like this because they are a controlling personality and possibly a predator. Predators choose women with children of the age and gender of their preference and choose women that are vulnerable due to any number of reasons. You can expect this type of male to start controlling everything about your life very quickly. This is a successful mode of operation for a predator and a controller. I recommend that you cut ties with him the sooner the better. He is no boy and he is no friend of yours.
