it usuallt comes on when the engine management system has pick up a fault, to investigate why it has come on you need to get it put on some suitable diagnostic equipment most loca garages have this now.

most probaily( breaks ) some thing to do with worn pads or discs
you need to take the car to garage . its normally a dead lambda or o2 sensor . easy fix
my was falt in drivers seat belt but there are heaps of other things that can bring this problem up
needs to be done with a diagnostics machine.
