Contact dealer and ask them if it has been done on your van also have your V I N number ready so they can check it good luck my 1999 just had same problem it took about 45 minutes and it shouldnt cost you a dime if it is this recall go to automd . com and check with year and make of van they will tell you all the open recalls on your van
The light stays on when there is a malfunction in the airbag system. While it could be the clockspring , there are other options too. The system will need to be checked with a scan tool to know possible causes.
