Actually, Ghana does have safe drinking water, which comes from lake volta. Many people drink water from the faucet, but its very safe to drink. Foreign people like tourists or people visiting the country that haven't lived there should buy the bottled water from the stores, because if you arent used to the water, you could get sick.
